The fee is $2 or 3%, whichever is greater and the fee goes directly to the company processing the card payment
Residential Water Rates:
$17.00 up to 2,200 gallons
$4.00 per 1,000 gallons (or fraction thereof) over 2,200 gallons
*this excludes trailer parks, some businesses and special circumstances with meters
Bills are due the 16th of each month.
Payments not RECEIVED by the 16th are charged a 10% late fee.
Payments not RECEIVED by the 26th are subject to disconnection for non-payment.
Once an account has been disconnected, the bill must be paid in full plus a $50 reconnection fee before service can be restored.

The above fees are charged once per year in May.
Public water systems are required to collect a primacy fee from their customers for remittance to MODNR. MODNR established the new fee rates by amending rule 10 CCSR 60-16 Drinking Water Fees, consistent with the process outlines in 640.100 RSMo. The process included holding a series of stakeholder meetings to reach a consensus proposal, presenting the consensus proposal to the Safe Drinking Water Commission for approval, and promulgating the proposal through regulation. The rulemaking process also included a public comment period and a public hearing to give the public a chance to provide input prior to the Commission's adoption of the Order of Rulemaking. The final language of the rule will publish in the November 30, 2021, publication of the Code of State Regulations.
